JENNIFER PIERRO

is an Italian-American NYC-based Actress/Voice-Over Artist/Writer/Director/Producer and a proud member of AEA & SAG-AFTRA Unions. Along with being Co-founder/Executive Director of Manhattan rep, she is also the founder of her production company, Roma Productions.

She studied acting at the prestigious HB Studio school in Greenwich Village, NYC under the guidance of Broadway veteran Jeanne Kaplan.

Off-Broadway: Powerhouse (Meena Cizinski) (A.R.T./ New York Theatre’s/Gural Theatre) were she received “The best acting accolade” review by Mari S. Gold, T and B ON The Aisle.

She is also scheduled to start rehearsing her new solo multi-character comedy show called Men. Original script written by Ken Wolf with Jen’s character collaboration and creation. It will be produced by her production company, Roma Productions. She is slated to start touring in 2026.

She was back on stage reprising her role as Dana, a psychiatric patient in the new original play Rawshock by Rita Lewis. She performed back in June 2023 in this developmental piece, and it was immediately picked up for a 3-week limited engagement run in NYC where it received rave reviews and made the A 2024 10 Best List by Darryl Reilly from theaterscene. org. FILM/TV CREDITS: Switch (she co-wrote) as Dr. Alex Owens. Switch was selected into a number of festivals in the US and Internationally. Nominations include: Best Screenplay, Best Screenplay Short, Best Drama, Best Dramatic Short, and has won the BEST SHORT SHORT award at the NYLIFF festival. Some additional film/TV credits are Code Name Nemesis, The Clown, The Big Shea Social Club, Manhattan Bridge, All My Children, Guiding Light and Stagestruck.

Jennifer has been the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Manhattan Repertory Theatre since 2005, where they have produced over 1,000 full-length plays and 6,000 short plays.

She will forever and always be Mamma to her fur child-Roma and continue to honor her memory always. She is an animal advocate, and enjoys spending time at animal shelters and sanctuaries all over helping out and caring for animals in need. She believes they are life’s precious gifts. She is an avid marathoner, athlete, cyclist, fitness enthusiast, nutrition junkie, photographer and loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys traveling the world (Italy being her favorite) and exploring different cultures. A passionate animal advocate, athlete and storyteller, she brings artistry and heart to everything she does.
