Do you love theatre but have no idea where to begin or what path might be right for you? FIRST STEPS TO A CAREER IN THEATRE is a private 75 minute Zoom session for teens ages 13 to 19 who are curious about building a future in theatre, whether that means acting, playwriting, directing, producing, design, musical theatre, or perhaps something you have not even discovered yet.
Theatre is a huge creative world with many different possibilities. We will explore your interests, answer your questions, discuss training and experience, and look at realistic ways you can begin developing your skills now. We can also talk about education, creating opportunities for yourself, and the many different ways people build lives and careers in theatre.
Drawing on more than 35 years of professional theatre experience, I will help you sort through the possibilities and create a personalized roadmap based on YOUR interests, strengths, goals, and dreams.
