THE COMPLETE PRODUCTION INTENSIVE

FROM THE PAGE TO THE STAGE

You have written your play. You have revised it. You have worked incredibly hard to make it the best play it can be.

Now comes one of the most important questions. Is your play truly ready to be brought to life?

A play is not meant to live on a computer. It is meant to be spoken. It is meant to be experienced.

And until actors actually speak the words aloud, it can be difficult to know what is truly working.

That is why The Complete Production Intensive includes something incredibly important.

Two live Zoom readings with professional actors.

These readings allow you to hear your play come alive, discover what is working in performance, identify what may still need refinement, and make informed decisions before taking the next step toward production.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:

SESSION ONE: THE PRODUCTION X RAY

Before we meet, I read your completed play. Then we look at your play through the eyes of a director and producer.

We examine pacing, clarity, theatricality, character, action, production considerations, and the overall experience of the play.

Together, we create your Production Ready Roadmap.

Then we prepare for the first reading.

ZOOM READING # 1

Actors read your play aloud on Zoom. Now you get to hear it. Not in your head.

Not while reading it from the page. You hear actors actually bringing your characters and story to life.

This can reveal things that are almost impossible to discover any other way.

Then we discuss what we learned from the reading, what worked, what surprised you, what needs additional attention, and what changes could make the play even stronger.

Then you refine your play.

SESSION TWO: PRODUCTION STRATEGY

After the first reading and your revisions, we meet again.

Now we begin developing a production strategy that makes sense for you and your play.

That might include readings, festivals, submissions, self production, development opportunities, networking, or other possible paths toward getting the play in front of an audience.

Then we prepare for the second reading.

ZOOM READING # 2

Your revised play is read again by actors. Now you get to experience what changed.

You hear the new version come alive. You discover whether the revisions are working and whether the play is delivering the theatrical and emotional experience you intended.

From there, we identify any final adjustments.

SESSION THREE: THE LAUNCH PLAN

During our final session, we create your personalized launch plan.

We discuss your next steps, submissions, readings, festivals, production possibilities, marketing, networking, and the most effective ways to begin getting your play into the world.

You leave knowing where you are going and what you need to do next.

Now it is time to take the next step.
